Tererai Trent International School-Mandara is a faith-based, college-preparatory private school whose mission is to nurture students to dream beyond themselves, to pursue excellence that uplifts their lives and their communities, and to become morally grounded and innovative leaders who will engage in global impact education and positively affect the world.
Our curriculum is specifically designed within the Cambridge framework. This approach helps us achieve high global education standards while staying deeply connected to our local education. this is the main idea why we have chosen this curriculum as of choice as it perfectly balances excellence with relevance.

Our Trustees
Peace Mitchell
Peace Mitchell is an author, investor, international keynote speaker, and entrepreneur dedicated to advancing education, women’s empowerment, and community-led impact. Peace is an internationally recognised leader in women’s entrepreneurship and education. She is the CEO and co-founder of The Women Changing the World Awards, the Women’s Business School, AusMumpreneur, and Women Changing the World Press, initiatives designed to support women in building thriving businesses and meaningful careers. Through these platforms, she has helped tens of thousands of women around the world activate their potential, build community, and scale their impact. As Chair of the global nonprofit Tererai Trent International, Peace champions the organisation’s mission to expand access to quality education, gender equality, and opportunity for girls and young people in rural communities. Her leadership helps fuel scholarships, infrastructure development, and community partnerships that enable students to pursue university and leadership.
Alice Chen
Alice Chen is a leadership consultant and coach with over 18 years of experience in education, organizational development, and transformational learning. A former public school educator and activist, she now guides diverse leaders, from Fortune 500 executives to mothers reentering the workforce, through her companies Wayfinding Wisdom and The Unlearning Studio to navigate complexity with creativity and courage. Alice joins Tererai Trent International Schools with expertise in organizational strategy, learning design, cross-cultural facilitation, and a foundational belief that education is the pathway to both personal and collective liberation.
Susan Cole
Susan Cole believes the best communication starts with connection, the kind that’s real, grounded, and human. She works in Executive Communications at Cisco, where she currently supports a Senior Vice President, shaping stories that bring the One Cisco vision to life and strengthen alignment across teams.
Susan began her career in advertising and has spent most of her life in tech, blending strategy, storytelling, and heart to help brands and leaders communicate with authenticity and impact. After stepping away to explore the world of wellbeing, including helping launch a retreat center and opening a meditation studio, she returned to corporate life with a deeper understanding of what truly moves people.
A former Creative Director with TEDxBoise and host of a Wisdom 2.0 conference, Susan is drawn to conversations that expand our collective awareness. Her writing focuses on the intersection of desire, authenticity, and identity, exploring how personal truth can ripple outward into social change.
She lives in the North End of Boise, Idaho, where she can be found walking pretty much everywhere, hanging out with good friends and her cat Frank, and cheering on her two twenty-something sons.
